KOCHI: Muthoot Finance reported a 43 per cent increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 2026, aided by continued strength in its core gold loan business, which pushed its loan assets under management (AUM) to a record level.

The Kerala-headquartered gold loan company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs2,825 crore during the quarter, compared with Rs1,974 crore a year earlier. On a standalone basis, net profit rose 25 per cent to Rs2,550 crore.

Total income increased to Rs8,695 crore from Rs6,485 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, while consolidated loan AUM expanded 43 per cent year-on-year to Rs1,91,532 crore.

The company attributed the performance to robust demand for gold loans, with the consolidated loan book reaching its highest-ever level.
