Deloitte, Chaturvedi & Shah, new auditors for RIL

Tenure is for five years

BBN Bureau MUMBAI/August 30-2022: The shareholders of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), the most valued company listed on Indian stock markets, at the annual general meeting (AGM) held on August 29, 2022, approved the appointment of Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Chaturvedi & Shah, as the auditors of the company. The appointment is for a term of five) consecutive years from the conclusion of the 45th AGM (Post-IPO) till the conclusion of the 50^th AGM (Post-IPO). The new auditors are taking over from S R B C & CO LLP and D T S & Associates LLP, who were auditors of RIL from July 21, 2017 for a period of five years. They were appointed at the annual general meeting (AGM) held on July 21, 2017, for a term of 5 consecutive years till the conclusion of the 45th AGM (Post-IPO). “Accordingly, they have ceased to be the auditors of the company on conclusion of the AGM held on August 29, 2022,” an official release issued by the company said.
