Cochin Minerals and Rutile profit up in Q 3

Kochi: Cochin Minerals and Rutile posted a turnover of Rs43.42 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal ending March, 2018 as against Rs34.20 crore in the previous quarter. The corresponding figure was Rs26.77 crore in the same period last year. The net profit of the company moved up to Rs.32.05 lakh during the quarter under review from Rs15.6 lakh in the previous quarter. During the same period in the last fiscal the company reported a net loss of Rs.2.17 crore. Currently, the company’s scrip hovers around Rs140 on the bourse. On February 6, 2018, it closed at Rs.142.35 with a gain of Rs6.7 (4.94 p c) on BSE.
