BANGALORE: It may take a while more for certain businesses to come back given the slowdown engendered by the COVID 19 pandemic, and for the ones coming under the entertainment segment, the timing of return still remains uncertain.
But how long can the businesses with large workforce remain with their fingers crossed? For India’s leading amusement park and hospitality brand, Wonderla Holidays Ltd management, it is an incontrovertible fact that they need to take on new challenges to keep their workforce engaged, and they decided to take the plunge …to enter the food business.
Wonderla recently announced the launch of their second Wonder Kitchen outlet in Bangalore at Rajarajeshwari Nagar, near BEML Complex.
Wonderla Holidays Ltd announced their business foray into food takeaway and home delivery division earlier this year in June 2020 with the launch of the first Wonder Kitchen outlet located at Kengeri.
Wonder Kitchen is a multi-cuisine cloud-kitchen serving vegetarian and non–vegetarian dishes and has also partnered with Swiggy and Zomato for online orders and home delivery apart from takeaway.
The outlet will operate from 11.30 am to 10 pm and will offer free delivery of orders within a 6 km radius. Arun Chittilappilly, Director, Wonderla Holidays Ltd said that after a successful run of our first food takeaway outlet in Kengeri, the company has decided to open the second one in Rajarajeshwari Nagar.
Wonder Kitchen in Kochi by September
“The Covid-19 crisis has changed the world completely in the last few months impacting our Parks and Resort chains across different locations. In these difficult times, we have decided to adapt and step into the new business venture with the support of our experienced staff, “Chittilappilly said.
He said there is an ever-growing demand for safe and hygienic food, without having to compromise on the taste and quality.
Wonderla has plans to open the first Kerala outlet of Wonder Kitchen in Kochi during September and thereafter in Hyderabad.
