ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi-listed company Presight has formalised an expanded partnership with the US-based firm Intelligent Security Systems (ISS).
The collaboration, announced during a prominent technology trade show in Dubai, aims to leverage Presight’s advanced AI technologies across North and South America, thereby enhancing the operational capabilities of ISS’s extensive portfolio.
The partnership is particularly noteworthy as it encompasses critical contracts with major government transport networks, including CalTrans in California and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York.
By integrating Presight’s innovative technology into these systems, ISS is poised to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of surveillance operations, thereby contributing to improved public safety and infrastructure management.
Growing demand
Furthermore, the partnership will allow ISS to utilise Presight’s AI technologies as it seeks to expand its presence in the western hemisphere. The strategic move not only underscores the growing demand for sophisticated surveillance solutions but also highlights Presight’s commitment to establishing a global footprint in the AI sector.
Presight, chaired by Sultan Al Jaber—who concurrently serves as the CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and President of the UAE-hosted COP28—will also benefit from this collaboration.
company plans to implement ISS’s SecurOS video and sensor platforms across its national and international projects, thereby enhancing its technological capabilities and service offerings.
In addition to its partnership with ISS, Presight is set to embark on the development of an AI asset management tool in collaboration with Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s leading renewable energy firm.
The initiative will involve the analysis of data from various renewable energy sources, including solar panels and wind turbines. By proactively identifying potential issues, Presight aims to mitigate failures and reduce downtime, thereby optimising operational efficiency for Masdar.
