The $50 million investment not only underscores Emtelle’s commitment to enhancing high-performance telecom infrastructure but also highlights KEZAD’s strategic role as a hub for advanced manufacturing.

Spanning 48,000 square metres, the new facility is a Build-to-Suit solution tailored specifically for Emtelle, enabling the company to address the surging demand for high-speed internet and telecom services.

As the UAE embarks on its ambitious digital transformation journey, this facility is poised to play a crucial role in bolstering the nation’s telecom infrastructure.

Emtelle’s production capabilities, which include microduct tube bundles and pre-connectorised fibre solutions, will ensure timely delivery and increased capacity, thereby enhancing service efficiency across the MENA region.

Furthermore, the facility is designed with sustainability and scalability in mind, employing energy-efficient technologies to minimise environmental impact. This commitment to sustainable practices aligns with global trends toward environmentally responsible manufacturing, reinforcing Emtelle’s position as a leader in innovative telecom solutions.

The establishment of this facility also promises to generate numerous employment opportunities for skilled workers in Abu Dhabi, fostering local talent and contributing to the region’s economic development.

Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities & Free Zones at AD Ports Group, said that this development not only enhances KEZAD’s appeal as an international business hub but also positions Abu Dhabi prominently on the global industrial map.

Tony Rodgers, CEO of Emtelle Group, emphasised that this facility is integral to the company’s long-term strategy to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving market. By manufacturing within KEZAD, Emtelle aims to reduce lead times and reinforce its commitment to regional customers, leveraging KEZAD’s strategic location and logistics infrastructure.
