THIRUVANANTHAPURAM/April 27-2022: Tata Elxsi’s new technology development centre now in Kerala’s capital, Thiruvananthapuram.

Tata Elxsi, amongst the world’s leading design and technology service providers, announced its new technology development centre in Thiruvananthapuram, in the Special Economic Zone of Kinfra Film & Video Park, Kazhakkuttom, Kerala.

This new centre is an independent LEED-certified green building comprising 9 floors, providing state-of-the-art   labs for EV, Connected Car, OTT, 5G, and Digital technologies, and seating for over 2000 technologists and engineers.

At the handover ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, P Rajeev (seen in the picture), Minister for Industries, Law, and Coir, said the new office of Tata Elxsi at the Kazhakkuttom KINFRA Park will help accelerate innovation and R&D projects in Kerala.

“Tata Elxsi has been among the first companies to establish a tech presence in Kerala, and this Rs75-crore project will expand its footprint and create direct and indirect employment for 4000 people,” Rajeev said.

Tata Elxsi has been the employer of choice for dedicated engineers who want to challenge themselves with technology, digital and next-gen product engineering, and build rewarding careers.

M Thangarajan, COO Tata Elxsi said the company’s centres in Thiruvananthapuram have fostered outstanding engineers and technologists who are now working with Tata Elxsi on projects around the globe, from the United Kingdom to the United States and Japan.

“We encourage engineering talents from across the country to join us at this new centre and help create products and services of the future in automotive, media, telecom, and consumer electronics,” said Thangarajan.
