KOZHIKODE: Malabar Gold & Diamonds is ramping up its retail presence with a Rs600 crore expansion plan, adding 12 new showrooms across India by March 2025.
This will take its total showroom count to 391 across 13 countries, further strengthening its footprint in 19 Indian states. The company has also hired 406 employees in various roles as part of this expansion phase.
The new showrooms will be located in Maharashtra, Odisha, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. Alongside its domestic expansion, Malabar Gold & Diamonds is strengthening its global presence, with plans to open 60 new showrooms in 2025.
Widening reach
Five of these will be launched in April across the Middle East, the UK, and Canada. The company, which already has a presence in markets such as the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, the USA, the UK, Canada, and Australia, is looking to widen its reach and establish itself as a leading luxury brand.
Chairman MP Ahammed said the expansion is part of the company’s vision to strengthen its global footprint while maintaining its focus on quality and transparency.
He emphasised that each showroom opening is a step towards making Malabar Gold & Diamonds the world’s leading jewelry and luxury brand.
The company operates 11 state-of-the-art factories in India and five international units, with key facilities in Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Bangalore serving as innovation hubs. These units leverage advanced technology to craft jewelry that meets high standards of quality and compliance.
