MUMBAI: Godrej Interio, the home and office furniture brand under the Godrej & Boyce umbrella of the Godrej Group, announced plans on Monday to open 104 new stores and add over two lakh square feet of retail space in the current fiscal year as part of its pan-India expansion strategy.
Currently operating 900 stores across more than 600 cities in India, Godrej Interio is targeting a 20 per cent growth in FY25.
The company expects to surpass 1,000 stores by August, according to a statement released by the brand.
“Our nationwide growth plan includes the addition of 34 new stores in the northern region, 24 in the western region, 19 in the southern region, and 27 in the eastern region,” said Dev Narayan Sarkar, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business (B2C) at Godrej Interio.
In addition to expanding its physical footprint, Godrej Interio is also enhancing its digital presence.
The company’s e-commerce platform now serves over 17,000 pin codes across India, the statement added.
