NEW DELHI: As part of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (NMP), 44 Central Ministries and 36 States/UTs have come on board, with a total of 1,614 data layers integrated into the platform.
To maintain data accuracy, key infrastructure ministries have established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through a three-tier system. SOPs for 8 infrastructure ministries and 15 social sector ministries have already been notified, and work is ongoing for other ministries and States/UTs.
The ‘Compendium on PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan,’ prepared by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), outlines the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders involved.
Furthermore, two volumes of a compendium highlighting PM Gati Shakti’s success stories have been launched.
Milestone
A major milestone has been achieved, with the assessment of 208 large-scale infrastructure projects worth Rs15.39 lakh crore across multiple ministries adhering to PM Gati Shakti principles.
Additionally, 434 projects from the Ministry of Railways under three key economic corridors – Energy, Mineral, and Cement Corridors, High Traffic Density Corridors, and Rail Sagar – have been evaluated and submitted to the PMO for review.
