MUMBAI: Shyam Srinivasan, former Managing Director and CEO of Federal Bank, has been appointed as Senior Advisor and Operating Partner at TVS Capital Funds (TCF). In his new role, Srinivasan will offer strategic guidance and operational insights to TCF’s portfolio companies, with a particular emphasis on financial services and technology-driven sectors.
Srinivasan, who boasts over three decades of experience in banking and financial services, played a pivotal role during his 14-year tenure at Federal Bank. Under his leadership, the bank expanded nationally, upgraded its digital banking capabilities, and significantly improved asset quality, transforming it from a regional player into a nationally recognized brand.
Gopal Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of TVS Capital Funds, noted that with the launch of their fourth fund, TCF is refining its focus on control investing and transformational growth. He stressed that Srinivasan’s vast experience and strategic leadership would be invaluable as TCF partners with businesses to scale and prepare them for IPO readiness.
Managing approximately Rs5,000 crore across its third and fourth funds, TVS Capital Funds has a strong track record, having built over 35 partnerships and executed 28 exits in the private equity space.
