Federal Bank advances grow 20 pc to Rs2.24cr YoY

KOCHI: The gross advances of Federal Bank, the largest Kerala-based bank, grew by 20.1 per cent year on year (YoY) to Rs2.24 lakh crore from Rs1.87 lakh crore as of June 30, 2023.

As per internal classification, retail credit book grew by 25 per cent and wholesale credit book grew by 14 per cent during the same period. This works out a retail to wholesale ratio of 56:44 per cent as of June end, 2024.

Total deposits reached Rs2.66 lakh crore, marking a growth of 20 per cent over Rs2.23 lakh crore as of June 30, 2023.

The bank’s customer deposits (total deposits excl interbank deposits and certificates of deposit) aggregated to Rs2.52 crore, a growth of 20 per cent over Rs2.10 lakh crore, as of June 30, 2023.
