DUBAI: Nakheel, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded three major contracts worth over AED750 million to DBB Contracting LLC for infrastructure development on Palm Jebel Ali, with completion targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.

The deal marks an important milestone in the ongoing development of Palm Jebel Ali, a landmark waterfront project that exemplifies Dubai’s vision for luxury living and urban growth.

DBB Contracting LLC’s prior experience on the island, including public access and road construction projects, positions it well to deliver the comprehensive infrastructure works required. These encompass utility connections, excavation, road and pavement construction, power distribution, and telecom infrastructure across Fronds A to G and the Spine District.

The project’s scale, spanning seven islands and 13.4 kilometres of shoreline, directly supports Dubai’s broader 2040 Urban Master Plan aimed at enhancing public beach access and expanding the emirate’s waterfront.

Palm Jebel Ali is poised to redefine global waterfront living by integrating mixed-use, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods with panoramic Gulf views, smart city technologies, and sustainable practices.

This ambitious development aligns with the strategic Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and reflects the leadership’s commitment to creating a world-class urban destination that appeals to residents, tourists, and investors alike.
